Anyone know whether, when the sea is rough, you can detect Smithic
sandbank off Bridlington, by sea surface conditions?

Hehe.

Actually, when it gets a bit choppy, the sandbank throws up cresting
waves, whereas all other areas, just small waves. So, in fact it does
not take that much of a poor seastate before you can see signs of the
sandbank.
